Renovation of Two Swimming Pools – Residential Compound, Dabouq
Renovation of two existing swimming pools within a residential compound in Dabouq, Amman. Each pool measures approximately 4 × 10 m. The works included removal of the existing finishes, new plastering, a complete MAPEI waterproofing system, new pool tiling, modifications to the mechanical rooms, and waterproofing of the pool tanks.

The challenge
The project involved the complete rehabilitation of two existing swimming pools while working with the original structures and existing mechanical systems. The main challenge was coordinating the removal of old finishes, surface preparation, waterproofing, new tiling and mechanical-room modifications while maintaining the integrity of the existing pool structures.
Our solution
Kingdom Pillars carried out a complete rehabilitation sequence for both pools, starting with removal of the existing finishes and preparation of the pool surfaces, followed by new plastering, a complete MAPEI waterproofing system and new tiling. The existing mechanical rooms were modified to suit the renewed pool systems, and the pool tanks were also fully waterproofed.
Result & handover
The two swimming pools were fully rehabilitated and prepared for operation with renewed finishes, waterproofing and upgraded mechanical-room arrangements, providing a complete renovation of the pool facilities within the residential compound.
